At Muyaayu Wild Adventure Safaris, we believe that sustainable tourism should create value beyond the safari experience. Through our community-based coffee and vanilla program Muyaayu wild coffee, we work with small-scale farmers particularly women to strengthen their livelihoods while connecting their products to local and international markets.
Our model brings together farmers, markets, tourism and responsible consumption, creating opportunities for rural communities to benefit from Uganda’s growing coffee and vanilla value chains.
What We Do
Farmer Training
We provide practical training in coffee and vanilla production, sustainable farming practices, harvesting, quality management and post-harvest handling.
Coffee Market Access
We help small-scale farmers access more reliable markets and connect their coffee with buyers, cafés, hospitality businesses and visitors interested in Ugandan coffee.
Vanilla Development
We support vanilla farmers with knowledge around cultivation, harvesting, curing, quality control and market opportunities.
Pre & Post-Harvest Support
From farm preparation and harvesting to drying, processing, grading and storage, we work with farmers to improve product quality and reduce post-harvest losses.
Women Farmer Empowerment
Women are at the heart of our community model. We aim to strengthen their access to knowledge, markets, networks and income-generating opportunities.
Farm-to-Market Experiences
Visitors can experience the journey of Ugandan coffee and vanilla from the farm to the final productthrough community and farm visits incorporated into selected safari experiences.
From Farm to Cup
We work with farmers at different stages of the value chain, helping them understand not only how to produce coffee and vanilla, but also how quality, processing and market requirements influence the value of their products.
Our Community Coffee Model
Muyaayu works toward building a model where farmers are not simply producers at the beginning of a supply chain, but active participants in the value created from their products.

Coffee Experiences
We offer coffee safari experiences in the local communities in areas like central Uganda know for Robusta coffee, Mt Elgon region know for Arabica coffee and the western region. Our guests can visit participating farms, meet farmers, learn about Ugandan coffee, participate in selected farm activities and understand the journey from coffee cherry to cup. Through this experience, our goal is to make sure that the consumer knows and understands where his or her coffee comes from and connects with the farmer.
